i have noticed that creating posts, editing, and previewing posts is a LOT faster on this forum than GS.

also found this: Backups evidently, the founder of the site can make backups. don't know if they're onsite or offsite backups. but if they're offsite then it means you could keep a copy of the forums on your computer.
